ICBVI Plans

Under the provisions of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), the Governor of each State or Territory must submit a Unified or Combined State Plan to the U.S. Department of Labor that outlines a four-year strategy for the State‚Äôs workforce development system. The publicly-funded workforce development system is a national network of Federal, State, regional, and local agencies and organizations that provide a range of employment, education, training, and related services and supports to help all job-seekers secure good jobs while providing businesses with the skilled workers they need to compete in the global economy.

Idaho has chosen to submit a Combined State Plan; which is effective 2016-2020.
The 4 Core Programs involved in this plan are:
1)    Idaho Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired
2)    Idaho Department of Labor
3)    Idaho Division of Vocational Rehabilitation
4)    Idaho Commission of Aging
